What are Over Runs & Under Runs?
In certain instances you may receive an overage or a shortage on your order.
Due to manufacturing quality and production standards there will be over runs and occasionally under runs. The Safety Award Store will do everything possible to reduce this occurrence. The industry standard on most products is ± 5%. For instance, if you order 2,000 pens you could potentially receive between 1900 and 2100 pens. Over or under runs occur do to the fact that quantity of the products are determined by weight since its not possible to actually count the exact quantities in a mass production process.

How and where do I send you my artwork?
Please email it to artwork@safetyawardstore.com or you can attach your art file when using our shopping cart to complete your order. If we don’t receive your artwork we will remind you of this later when we email your order confirmation.
What kind of file do you need?
Although we prefer files Adobe Illustrator files with extensions of .EPS and .AI, we can work with just about any file you have.
I don't have a logo. Can you just print my company name, slogan, and telephone number?
Yes. That is no problem! We call this a typeset and there is no charge for this service. We can typeset your copy/message in any font you like, or we can pick one for you.
What is an Art Proof?
An art proof is an actual layout of the way your artwork will look when printed on the product you have chosen. Proofs are available for all items, please consult our service specialist for details. An additional charge of $15 will apply for art proofs. After you approve the artwork proof your order will go into production.
What is a PMS color number?
The Pantone Matching System assigns numbers to specific shades of every color in the spectrum. The PMS system is used to define ink colors used in spot color printing. If you do not know your PMS number, just let us know. We will find it for you. There is a charge for PMS Color Matches or we can choose a color from our stock inks that best matches your color at No Charge.
What is a setup charge?
You are purchasing a physical screen (for screened items), or tape (for embroidered items) that is kept at out factory for 2 years. If you reorder the same product within that period of time, we will be able to use your screen from the previous order and there will be no setup.
Do you provide Rush Service?
If you are working on a very tight deadline, please check out our RUSH section, which lists a wide selection of Safety Awards that can be produced and shipped out within 5 business days. We even offer a 24 hour rush service on some of our popular items. Please note that Rush Service may require an additional cost per item or an additional Setup Charge.
Please note that you must consider delivery time when figuring out when you will receive your order. We can only guarantee that your order will leave the factory on time according to the shipping method that you specify. Rush orders often incur additional charges and you may be required to limit the complexity of your artwork.

Can I order samples before placing my order?
We understand that choosing the right product for your next Safety Milestone or Safety Meeting can be challenging. To help you decide which product is right for you we offer imprinted and non-imprinted samples. Samples of our product line are available at anytime. Please follow the instruction below if you are interested in ordering from the SafetyAwardStore.
HOW TO ORDER A SAMPLE

To order a sample please email your request to samples@SafetyAwardStore.com

In your request please inluclude the following: Item #(s), Quantity, Any Specific Color, Billing, Shipping & Contact Information and your Shippers Account Number (if available).

The samples department will contact you regarding your request within 24 hours. They will provide you with cost (if applies) and shipping options.

The cost of samples including shipping must be paid at time of the sample request (if pricing applies)

Samples will be shipped blank or with a random imprint. Samples may not be customized.

Sample orders are shipped by Ground Service. If you need overnight shipping please provide a shipping account number or contact customer service at 1-888-289-8635.
If you choose to place an order for an item which you have sampled, SafetyAwardStore.com will credit the cost of that sample and the cost of its ground shipping towards your order.
Cancellations
The SafetyAwardStore charges a 5% cancellation fee on Credit Cards or Echeck orders and 2.5% fee on physical Check orders if one of the following applies:

If the customer does not agree to pay for rush charges to meet the in hand date.

If the customer changes their mind due to personal preference.

If the customer finds a lower advertised price by a competitor and does not let the SafetyAwardStore match the price.
Cancellations fee will not apply for the following:

If the item is out of stock.

If a wrong or an incomplete proof was provided.

If a certain product option is unavailable but was advertised
-
If the production time is not as advertised.
Please note if the order has reached full production then it cannot be stopped, only shipping method/location can be modified.
If an order must be cancelled while its in production an even higher cancellation fee may apply. This fee will depend on the product and the production stage the order is in.
Returns
At the Safety Award Store we strive to meet 100% customer satisfaction. We will work hard to make sure that your shopping experience simple and enjoyable. If you have a problem with your order due to the direct fault of The Safety Award Store, we will resolve the issue promptly. A Return Merchandise Authorization must be obtained within 7 days of receipt. WE DO NOT ACCEPT UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS. Shipping Information
SafetyAwardStore.com utilizes hundreds of production facilities throughout the United States in order to bring you the best selection of promotional products. All orders are shipped FOB (freight on board) from the factory. This means that you own the merchandise from that point on. We guarantee that your items will leave the factory on or before the ship date specified on our Order Acknowledgment. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost or delayed by common carrier, international or US Customs departments or by 'acts of God'.
Most orders are shipped via FedEx or UPS. All quoted shipping costs are estimated and might vary due to occasional over & under runs on each order. We make out best efforts to ship your order to your desired destination in the most cost effective way possible given your specified date and production times. Should the items be lost or damaged in transit when using third party billing, the Safety Award Store is not responsible for damages incurred to the shipment. All claims or charges must be filed by you with your freight carrier.
Web Site Security
With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site. For credit card transactions,Adco's safetyawardstore.com adds security by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. This means that the credit card information you send is encrypted by your computer, and then decrypted again on our side, preventing others from accessing your private information in between.
OEHHA Proposition 65 - Notice to all residents of California:
Proposition 65, the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, was enacted as a ballot initiative in November 1986. The Proposition was intended by its authors to protect California citizens and the State's drinking water sources from chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm, and to inform citizens about exposures to such chemicals.
This law requires that certain items be tested for over 775 chemicals or have this sticker attached. Since it is not possible to test for all of the listed chemicals, the manufacturers are left with no choice but to label the items with this warning. Due to the requirement of Proposition 65 all drinkware that is shipped to California will have a warning sticker placed on the bottom stating that there may be hazardous chemicals in the plastic/ceramic/glass. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our California customers.
